Welcome to Intro to Music Reading and Notation!
I have a few items here that you might want to consider as we start class.
1. Get registered on this website
I need you to create an account on this website so I can start posting your grades and stuff.
2. The class syllabus
The Music 110 Syllabus explains what we are going to do this semester and outlines all of our little policies and procedures. Check it out, yo!
3. Student survey
Please fill out a brief survey about your experiences, likes, and where you get your music. This is our first official homework assignment. If you fill it out before class on Tuesday, Sept 2 you get an automatic 100, and you can complete it later than that for a 92.
4. The first paper worksheet (Homework #2)
Homework #2 asks you to apply a count to some rhythms and notate some rhythms based on a count. We'll cover this in our first session, and it is also explained on pages 6-9 of our theory textbook. This worksheet is not due until next Tuesday, Sept 2.
