Homework #2: Analysis and Inverted Seventh Chords
OK, this worksheet is two short things.
First, we'll analyze a passage from Beethoven's Fourth Piano Concerto, first movement. Here's an audio clip for you:
Secondly I ask you to look at a few inverted seventh chords and figure out what they are, including the standard "inversion symbols" for classical music analysis. These little numbers are listed on p. 7 of our textbook. You just gotta memorize them, like so:
